PureTracEveryone wants to reduce wastefulness and inefficiency, but that usually entails additional investments or an outright overhaul of buildings, plants and related facilities. A classic Catch-22.

PureChoice says it has software, called PureTrac, that can save companies up to 30 percent in energy costs without upgrading equipment. It’s all based on a method of fine tuning facilities.

Kevin Kuhne, COO of PureChoice, said in a release, “We don’t go in and overhaul equipment. We don’t have anything to do with the control system. We provide companies with the technology and information to operate their existing systems more efficiently. We give them the information to backtrack through their system, find out what’s not working and correct the problem. It’s important today because the capital is so important in this market. We offer companies an opportunity to fine tune, working with the existing equipment in a low-cost way, to save 15% or more on their current energy bills.”
